Peter Pan, the most magical adventure of them all told in the classic British musical pantomime style, is brought to Dubai by H2 Productions. The British company produces shows in Dubai for ten years now and Peter Pan is the biggest one as they celebrate the 10th anniversary. They started in Madinat Jumeirah and since 2013, the shows are in DUCTUC, Mall Of The Emirates. We paid them a visit to find out more about the cast and snap some photos during the rehearsals.

Kids, Peter Pan, dubai mums

Ali Clark, the show manager, introduced me to Peter Pan, Wendy, Mrs. Darling and one of the cooks. They are all coming from UK and Wendy, Mrs. Darling and the cook actually are a family in the real life: mother, father and daughter. The concept behind every show of H2 Productions is to bring the main cast from UK and the rest of the actors are “locals”. Every year, in September, the company starts the auditions for that year show and in November the rehearsals start. “We have kids growing with us, we give them the opportunity to gain confidence and perform in front of an audience free of charge” says Ali Clark. But in Peter Pan show this year, the audience will play also a part as it is more interactive and the characters ask questions and expect answers back from the public.

The shows last for two hours with fifteen minutes interval. What to expect? A big pirate ship, lots of pirates and Indians performed by the kids living in Dubai and, of course, Peter Pan flying around. And if your kids want to see a local celebrity, Aylissa from Breakfast Show on Dubai 92 Radio is part of the cast.

If you cannot make it to the show but the kids want to meet Peter Pan and Wendy, they will be in Oasis Mall on the 16th and 17th of December from 5.00 to 7.00pm for a Meet and Greet session with the Dubai public.

The show will run from 20th to 27th of December, with a free day on 25th when usually the cast go to Wild Wadi to relax. The tickets start from Dhs 140 and can be booked online at or directly at DUCTUC Box Office, Level 2, Mall of the Emirates.
