We paid a visit to the newly open restaurant PINC We paid a visit to the newly open restaurant PINCODE, situated on 1st floor of Dubai Hills Mall. Opened by Chef Kunal Kapur, the menu was created to cover all iconic dishes from around India, all identified by their pin codes, since the name of the restaurant.
Old recipes were picked up and recreated into these exotic dishes with the goal of making diners feel like if there traveled back in time.
Very rich menu, extraordinary taste, all very nicely presented and priced.
We enjoyed Potato Spiral Chaat (it was to die for!!!), Chaat Humus, Dhokla Chaat, Yogurt Kebab (which apparently is the best seller), Creamy Spinach Burrata, KFC style Chicken (amazing!!), Grilled Prawns served in white sauce (these also amazingly tasty) and Lamb Seekh Kebab (also very nice).
As dessert we went for the old Delhi style Milk n Bread and Rosmalai Tiramisu Mascarpone & coffee cream.
And should not forget to mention the so exotically presented strawberry daiquiri which was also so delicious!
We were also blown away by the interior design of the restaurant with walls decorated in PIN codes, big contemporary style candelabras and big pending lights reflected in mirrors.
The restaurant was easy to reach with access parking in the mall and being situated very close to the cinema.
We had an amazing dinning experience and we will certainly be back soon!

#dubaimumssay #shakespeare All the plays that we #dubaimumssay #shakespeare
All the plays that we all should know about from the great classic, William Shakespeare, now they are in a kids-friendly format.
I studied Shakespeare when I was in highschool but to my surprise, my daughters started to get familiar with his plays starting Year 5. Obviously, trying to get them to read the original Shakespeare at this age is impossible.
Following a mum's recommendation, I found this series, adapted for kids, on @mumzworldcom. The text is very easy and it's like story not play format. The books are under 100 pages and very easy to read. I think I'll read them myself just to refresh my memory.
Very helpful for all the kids out there. Not to mention for the parents that can easily guide them from now on.
Use Dubaimums10 discount code for 10% off when ordering from @mumzworldcom, even on discounted items.

#dubaimumssay #mangrovepark We had a quiet weeken #dubaimumssay #mangrovepark
We had a quiet weekend this time but still with a bit of exploration. We went to Jubail Mangrove Park, located on Al Jubail Island, Abu Dhabi.
It's only a 2 km path that allows you to take a walk through the mangroves and explore the natural landscapes. We also were able to spot lots of wildlife. The boys had a great field day for their biology classes.
The park is open 12 hours from 9am to 9pm. And pocket-friendly as well. For adults, the admission is Dhs15, Dhs10 for children under the age of 18 and free for children under seven.
Have you visited it? What else would you recommend?

#dubaimumssay #hairsalon Boys needed a haircut as #dubaimumssay #hairsalon
Boys needed a haircut as school announced photo session next day 😅 so here we are at @kiddieexpressuae in Business Bay.
Very professional service offered by friendly staff, the boys were thrilled with their new haircuts and they even got the chance to watch some movies during the process.
The salon services include haircuts for both boys and girls as well as nail art for girls.
There are cartoons & toys for the younger kids and super cute themed chairs & playstation games for older kids.
Also, as a plus, their stylists provide haircuts for all children and teens, including the extra special touch for kids with special needs.
There is a catalogue from where to chose the desired hair styles with lots of options.
We were very happy with the service provided and we also got a nice deal for all our community’s mums: 10% off on all services on first visit to the salon. Don’t forget to mention Dubaimums.
Scroll to see the prices. They are great as well.

#dubaimumssay #restaurantreview Have you ever bee #dubaimumssay #restaurantreview
Have you ever been on the historical Silk Road? We were, on a culinary experience with flavors from Morroco to Japan, at @aamara.ae .
Aamara Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Voco Hotel, on Sheikh Zayed Road and has an oriental vibe since the entrance. The tables are quite private with a dim light above each of them. The only "modern sign" are the signboards on the walls with funny and food-related quotes. The restaurant is also licensed and has a smoking area as well.
Aamara is definitely one of the restaurants that we would recommend 100%. The food is beyond delicious and it is sophisticatedly presented. It's traditional food with a twist.
We tried several dishes, one portion of each that we shared. Most of them are amuse bouche and starters and had 2-3 main courses and one dessert:
*Hummus with fresh za'atar pesto (AED 45)
*Aamara finger salad with lettuce cream and pomegranate molasses (AED 35) - we could have eaten a bowl of lettuce cream to be honest.
*King oyster kushiaki with tandoori aioli, chives and garlic chips (AED 85) - king oyster is actually a mushroom and kushiaki is the Japanese term for skewers. Definitely, this is a must when you go there. It's one of the best things we ate so far.
*Za'atar kebab with preserved lemon, cherry tomato and olive pickle (AED 105) - this is just divine.
*Butterfly prawn with muhammara chutney and candied walnut (AED 125) - these prawns are gigantic and the chutney and candied walnut made a finger-licking combination.
Still, King Oyster Kushiaki is our no. 1!!!
*Green chilly charcoal chops, garlic mayo, hummus and shoestring fries (AED 145)
*Lamb shank tagine with caramelized onions and saffron couscous (AED 140)
*Malabar shrimp curry with lemon rice (AED 125)
For the dessert, we opted for Opera cake that was prepared at our table. The best chocolate cake.
For drinks and chose 2 cocktails:
*Petal Drop - AED 90 and
*Men in Black - AED 90.
Aamara is definitely one of the restaurants that we would recommend 100%. The food is beyond delicious and it is sophisticatedly presented. It's traditional food with a twist.
Full review will come on the blog.
