We received some new products to test that I was not even aware they exist in UAE and I wish I would have known about them sooner.
Quoting from their website “AIWIBI Baby Diapers and Baby Pants have passed the clinical test of Dermatest in Germany and are rated as “Excellent”, which is the highest quality test standard in the world from a safety point of view” and I must say that we have not had any problems with leaks during the night.
The pants are very soft and breathable with waterproof leg cuffs and wetness indicator
The baby wipes are super soft touch and seem also very durable so we will definitely continue using them.
We received also some toddler cutlery that Olivia was very excited about ( as you can see from the pictures) and a cute little book that we both enjoy reading at night.

We gathered for another great experience a few days back and this time we opted for a chique location with exclusive views: The Atmosphere!
Atmosphere is situated at the top of the Burj Khalifa and is the world’s highest restaurant, being located 442 meters above the ground, on the 123rd floor.
Same of us decided for Decadence Breakfast Menu which is a set menu priced at AED 450 per person.
But you can also opt for à la carte! There is a minimum spending of AED 250 per person though and window tables are subject to availability upon reservation.
We also treated ourselves with Champagne, yummy! Experience marked on the notebook to be repeated every year! 😎😎

Even if I celebrate every year with my kids, they seem to forget about it. Thinking next time to get the cake and eat it by myself 😁

I think I landed in Perfume Heaven ... Or the other side... because there are sooooo many choices. And for all budgets.
There are perfumes, oils, bakhoor, something for everyone.
But coming back to the perfumes, the most notable one is the one in a luxurious box with Swarovski crystals on it. And I really like the lion head 😍😍
Arabic perfumes proudly produced in UAE. We really love to see local productions.
They also have some sales going on right now. Location: DIP 2, both factory and shop.
Haven't bought anything yet but definitely something to keep in mind when buying gifts for home.

Friends catch up at lunch time. So here we are gathering at Mogao By Socialicious in Silicon Oasis. We are quite familiar with the place, already been there for brunch and one night event.
We are always very pleased with the quality of food and the portions are quite big. It’s extremely well priced too!
We ordered the business lunch and being 3 of us we were able to taste all menu options by sharing. Extremely delicios, we can’t even say there was a favourite as all was so yumyyy. What’s better, a glass of wine was included on the lunch menu!!! 😎😎

A throwback to one of our hiking trips this season. What lovely weather we had this year and we took advantage of it.
Our hiking season starts around November and ends sometime in April. We really live the trails here and more show up from one season to another.
Of course, we'd like to see less plastic bottles and litter all over but hopefully this will improve. Nature is something unique and we have to nurture it. It offers so much beauty to enjoy.

It’s been a while since we had guests coming for the first time in Dubai and this weekend I got to be a tourist here again and see with fresh eyes how amazing this place is. Our friends were so impressed with the buildings, the cleanliness ,the people and the entire vibe of our beautiful place we are lucky to call home #mydubai .
I even manage to discover a place that I had no idea it existed in my 11 years of living here: Emaar Park – the best place to see the fountains from Burj Khalifa- not crowded at all and you can see perfectly the shows.
What were the things that your guests loved most about Dubai? And when was the last time you stopped to smell the flowers😂🙈?

Yes, we own the dog but not the cat. She's just a stray cat living in front of our house. Actually, it's her, her 3 siblings and her mum. And another 2 cats that were the before them. They are all in the last picture.
But this post is not about feeding the stray cats as this is actually illegal and fined by Dubai Municipality , but it's about NEUTERING the cats and return them in their comfort zone. Shortly TNR - Trap, Neuter, Return. We have implemented a similar program in our community and we neutered so far more than 35 cats. Imagine how many kittens we would have had by the end of the year (scroll for the pics of the community cats).
This way, the cats population will be under control, less fights for territory and less poor souls on the streets. Please consider neutering once starting stray cats. Summer is already here and the hard time has already started for them. At least water should be provided.
The charity organizations are overwhelmed by now also with the abandoned pets as people are moving and leave them behind. But about it, in another post.
