I don’t know how 2022 was for you but for us and our group of girlfriends -we gain some weight…good thing is that it was not only one of us…we all did it🙈.Might have been the freedom to travel after the pandemic or not cooking healthy at home because the restaurants were open… or all the ladies days/nights that we could not go to before-or the prosecco’s, red wine etc etc… but here comes 2023 and we are all with vision boards- for me pictures of Victoria Secret’s models and a hunger to get fit, toned, be able to wear 80% of my outfits that I was not fitting in anymore.And here comes @barrysuae with their new LIFT classes( as you would never catch me in their RED Room cardio famous workout) and I am ..ok- I can do it…and I did!
I got stronger and stronger…encouraged by everybody that works there- and months later I can call it a home- where everybody knows ur name ( Cheers reference here) and feeling that I am part of the @barrysuae family.
Sorry for the long post but one more mention here is @thelemonwaterlife this amazing person that is a holistic nutritionist and fat loss coach and my inspiration to be the best version of myself.
This is not a paid post whatsoever…This is me being grateful to the amazing people I am meeting everyday @barrysuae and that make me stronger with every class I take. RESPECT! Once my kids finish their screen time (and here I mean any screen - tablet, phone, TV), they start complaining: "we are bored", "we have nothing to do" etc.
Besides reading, that I'm obsessed with and imposing it on them as well, I encourage them to play games. There is so much to learn from games as well, from mathematics to logic to team playing and decision making. So far, our favourites are Rummy and Monopoly.
So here they are, not bored at all and not wanting to go to bed because they want to finish their Rummy game. Ha, found them something to do. If I have time, I join them as well as I love games.

We received some new products to test that I was not even aware they exist in UAE and I wish I would have known about them sooner.
Quoting from their website “AIWIBI Baby Diapers and Baby Pants have passed the clinical test of Dermatest in Germany and are rated as “Excellent”, which is the highest quality test standard in the world from a safety point of view” and I must say that we have not had any problems with leaks during the night.
The pants are very soft and breathable with waterproof leg cuffs and wetness indicator
The baby wipes are super soft touch and seem also very durable so we will definitely continue using them.
We received also some toddler cutlery that Olivia was very excited about ( as you can see from the pictures) and a cute little book that we both enjoy reading at night.

We gathered for another great experience a few days back and this time we opted for a chique location with exclusive views: The Atmosphere!
Atmosphere is situated at the top of the Burj Khalifa and is the world’s highest restaurant, being located 442 meters above the ground, on the 123rd floor.
Same of us decided for Decadence Breakfast Menu which is a set menu priced at AED 450 per person.
But you can also opt for à la carte! There is a minimum spending of AED 250 per person though and window tables are subject to availability upon reservation.
We also treated ourselves with Champagne, yummy! Experience marked on the notebook to be repeated every year! 😎😎

I think I landed in Perfume Heaven ... Or the other side... because there are sooooo many choices. And for all budgets.
There are perfumes, oils, bakhoor, something for everyone.
But coming back to the perfumes, the most notable one is the one in a luxurious box with Swarovski crystals on it. And I really like the lion head 😍😍
Arabic perfumes proudly produced in UAE. We really love to see local productions.
They also have some sales going on right now. Location: DIP 2, both factory and shop.
Haven't bought anything yet but definitely something to keep in mind when buying gifts for home.

Friends catch up at lunch time. So here we are gathering at Mogao By Socialicious in Silicon Oasis. We are quite familiar with the place, already been there for brunch and one night event.
We are always very pleased with the quality of food and the portions are quite big. It’s extremely well priced too!
We ordered the business lunch and being 3 of us we were able to taste all menu options by sharing. Extremely delicios, we can’t even say there was a favourite as all was so yumyyy. What’s better, a glass of wine was included on the lunch menu!!! 😎😎

A throwback to one of our hiking trips this season. What lovely weather we had this year and we took advantage of it.
Our hiking season starts around November and ends sometime in April. We really live the trails here and more show up from one season to another.
Of course, we'd like to see less plastic bottles and litter all over but hopefully this will improve. Nature is something unique and we have to nurture it. It offers so much beauty to enjoy.
